Diamond Heaven has been selling diamond pendants since 2004. In that time, we've built the largest diamond collection in the UK, with thousands of style variations across platinum, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and silver. Whether you're spending under a couple hundred pounds or several thousand, there's something here for you.
With 15 stores across the UK and prices up to 50% cheaper than the high street, we make it easy to find the right pendant without compromise. We're multiple-time winners of the National Wedding Awards and finalists at the Retail Jeweller Awards. That track record matters when you're buying something that lasts a lifetime.
You can view our collection in-store at our showrooms in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Liverpool.
How to Choose a Diamond Pendant
1. Budget - Start with what you're comfortable spending. It shapes every other choice, so getting this right first saves a lot of back-and-forth later.
2. Style - Think about the look you're after. A solitaire pendant is clean and timeless. A halo or cluster design adds more presence, while a gemstone pendant brings in colour. A letter pendant is something personal and makes a great gift.
3. Metal - White gold gives a modern finish. Yellow gold is warmer and more classic. Rose gold sits somewhere in between.
4. Shape - Round diamonds are the most popular choice, but pear, oval and marquise cuts all elongate the neckline nicely.
5. Chain Length - A 16-inch chain sits at the collarbone, an 18-inch chain is the most versatile and anything longer creates a more relaxed, layered look.
What Matters Most When Choosing a Diamond? – The 4Cs
Think of the 4Cs as four dials you can turn up or down depending on your budget. The trick is knowing which ones actually affect what you see with the naked eye.
Here’s what our jewellery experts who have decades of experience recommend:
Cut - Cut is the most important of the four. It determines how much light the diamond reflects, which is what gives it that bright, brilliant look. Always prioritise cut above everything else. A well-cut diamond will outshine a poorly cut one every time.
Colour - Diamonds are graded from D (colourless) to Z (visibly yellow). For pendants, you don't need to go all the way to D. Get the best you can for your budget.
Clarity - Most inclusions are invisible without magnification. Essentially, you naturally get specs within diamonds, you want a grade that excludes as many as possible
Carat - Carat refers to the weight of the diamond. After maxing out the cut, getting the largest diamond you can is often the next best option.
Natural VS Lab-grown Diamond Pendants
Both natural and lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They share the same physical and chemical properties, and side by side, they're visually identical. The difference comes down to origin, price and how you personally value each.
Lab-grown diamonds cost less, so your budget goes further on size and quality. Natural diamonds carry more cultural weight, billions of years of history which adds to the allure and tend to hold their value better over time.
Both natural and lab-grown diamonds come with certificates with the same criteria.
