Wuthering Heights Statement Jewellery
Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi star as Cathy and Heathcliff in the latest film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell. Far from a traditional period drama, this 2026 version leans into high-impact visuals, reimagining the novel’s gothic essence with a contemporary, theatrical edge.
Wuthering Heights Costumes
Although Emily Bronte’s novel was published in 1847, the story begins in the late 1700s, anyone expecting meticulously accurate historical wardrobe choices is in for a surprise. The film’s costumes resemble something torn from a fever dream. With high fashion influences from the likes of Alexander McQueen and Tierry Mugler infused with billowing Victorian and Georgian silhouettes.
Margot Robbie’s (Cathy’s) costumes all adhere to a strict colour scheme of red, white and black. The drama isn’t limited to the striking shapes, unconventional materials like latex, mirror-like silk and sheer taffeta amplify the otherworldly aesthetic.

Wuthering Heights Press Tour
Beyond the film’s extravagant costumes, the press tour and premieres showcased an array of unforgettable looks. Below, we highlight pieces inspired by the mesmerising jewels worn during these appearances.
Heart Shaped Pendants & Diamond Necklaces
During the film’s LA premiere, Margot Robbie wore the heart shaped Taj Mahal diamond necklace which originates from 17th Century India. It was a romantic gift from Emperor Jehangir to his wife, later passed down to his son, who not only gifted his wife Mumtaz Mahal the romantic stone and built the Taj Mahal in her honour. Later, the diamond was set using the original Taj Mahal diamond by Cartier in the 70s and given as a birthday gift to Elizabeth Taylor by her husband Richard Burton. The diamond bears the inscription “Love is Everlasting”, which relates back to the story of Cathy and Heathcliff.
The heart shaped pendant symbolises everlasting love and diamonds endure forever, together there’s nothing more romantic than wearing a diamond heart pendant, keeping it close to your own heart.
