John Cena and Nikki Bella

On April 2nd World famous wrestler John Cena proposed to WWE wrestler and long term girlfriend Nikki Bella after they had defeated The Miz and Maryse at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, Florida. The engagement was live streamed across the world, with over 10,000 people in the audience and an estimated 1.48 million paying subscribers to the WWE Network, Cena and Bella's engagement will forever go down in Wrestlemania  history.

 Nikki's engagement ring certainly turned heads - Cena proposed with a Tiffany diamond engagement ring that he designed himself *sobs*. In a really sweet YouTube video, he said that the 4.5 carat round cut diamond on a channel setting with four stones on either side was symbolic of the four years and a half year journey the Wrestling couple had taken up to this point.

Lance Armstrong and Anna Hansen

On May 24th Professional Racing cyclist announced his proposal to long-term girlfriend and former Charity worker Anna Hansen. The cute Instagram post showed the loved up couple gazing into each other's eyes on a boat in Lake Austin, Texas, with the simple caption, ‘She said... Yes!!!!' The couple have been together since 2008 and have two children, Max (7) and Olivia (8).

Lance Armstrong was previously married to Kristin Richard for five years (1998 - 2003) whom he has had three children with. He has also been linked to singer Sheryl Crow and actress Kate Hudson. Lance Armstrong is most well known for his seven consecutive winning titles for the Tour De France, and also admitting he had taken performance enhancing drugs on Oprah in 2012.

Emily Vancamp and Josh Bowman

When TV Show couples get together in real life, it really makes you believe in fate. Costars Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman started dating in 2011 after they met on the set of Revenge. What makes this even sweeter is that their characters were married on the show! American actress Emily VanCamp is also known for her role as Peggy Carter's niece Sharon Carter in Captain America. British actor Josh Bowman has previously starred in Holby City and The Last Keepers.

On May 11th Emily VanCamp posted a picture of her gorgeous solitaire engagement ring on Instagram with the simple heart emoji as a caption. The enigmatic post sent fans into a frenzy as they speculated exactly what it meant. Emily later revealed during the Fox VIP Fronts that beau Josh popped the question during a romantic hike in the forest *wipes tear away from eye*.
