This insurance is optional and will meet the demands and needs of a UK resident requiring insurance for jewellery or watches in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man plus up to 30 consecutive days elsewhere in the world any one trip.

The insurance is administered by T H March & Co. Limited, Hare Park House, Yelverton Business Park, Yelverton, Devon, PL20 7LS, and they are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This may be checked on the Financial Services Register on the FCA’s website.

In the unlikely event that you may wish to make a complaint, this should be directed to T H March. The complaints procedure is detailed in your insurance documentation.

It is important you read the certificate as this details the terms, conditions and any restrictions in cover.

There are various things to consider when buying an engagement ring online. When selecting the diamond for the ring, you need to look at the 4Cs - colour cut, clarity and carat. Every diamond ring we make is independently certified, meaning you will have all the information you need about the size and condition of your diamond. You must also consider the metal and setting, including white gold right up to platinum, but there are lots of variations for you to choose from.

WHICH ENGAGEMENT RING STYLE IS BEST FOR ME?

From classic shapes like solitaire and princess cut to more contemporary looks like emerald-cut and oval, an engagement ring should channel your partner's own style. Whether they are lovers of the vintage look or prefer a more modern style, we have a range of engagement rings to choose from. The chosen metal can also alter the look and feel of your ring, silver is the classic option while rose gold gives you a more trendy look. DO I HAVE TO GET A DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING?

Diamond engagement rings are the classic option, diamonds are durable, hardwearing and last a lifetime, making them the perfect symbolism of love that lasts forever. However, diamond engagement rings aren't for everyone and we have a range of other stones to choose from too. From gemstone rings to black diamond rings, you can find the perfect stone your partner is going to love.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT MY PARTNER'S ENGAGEMENT RING SIZE IS?

The easiest way to find out your partner's ring size is to ask their friends or close family members to subtly find out the perfect ring size. Alternatively, you could borrow one of your partner's dress rings and bring that to the jewellers who can work out the correct size.

CAN I FINANCE AN ENGAGEMENT RING?

Yes you can. Diamond Heaven offers a variety of engagement ring finance methods. You can either pay up front or apply online to one of our finance deals in a fast and easy process. Once finished, your application will be instantly sent to the finance company who will get back to you with a response.

SHOULD YOU WEAR AN ENGAGEMENT RING EVERY DAY?

No matter what style, setting or stone you choose, a beautiful engagement ring is going to be something you're going to want to show off! Diamonds are hardy and strong, however, to ensure your engagement ring stays as shiny as possible, we do recommend removing it during; swimming, cooking or manual labour to prevent damage. HOW MUCH SHOULD I SPEND ON AN ENGAGEMENT RING?

Knowing how much you should spend on an engagement ring is hard but spending one to three months salary on a ring seems to be widely acknowledged and accepted by many in the Western world. However, what you actually spend really is up to you and your own situation.
