Celebrity Engagements of 2016
Love is in the air in Celeb-ville.
At Diamond Heaven, we adore hearing about celebrity engagements and having a peak at their engagement rings. Well, though the year is still very young, here are some of the biggest celebrity engagements in 2016 so far and their fantastic engagement rings.
Early in the new year, Mariah Carey announced her engagement to billionaire fiance James Packer. She can be seen last month at a Las Vegas party sporting a gigantic emerald cut diamond engagement ring that cost her fiance a modest $7 million. Though, would you expect a penny less from the All I Want for Christmas singer?
Actress and model Jerry Hall announced her engagement to Australian newspaper magnate Rupert Murdoch early in 2016 (they're now married). Jerry Hall can be seen sporting a beautiful Marquise diamond engagement ring that has estimated to have to cost Murdoch over £2.4 million. Money well spent as this engagement ring is simply jaw-droppingly striking and elegant.
Another popstar who has announced their engagement this year, Kylie Minogue. The Australian singer and actress announced her engagement to British actor Joshua Sasse in the Daily Telegraph in February. Though the beans were split earlier in the year when she was spotted sporting a gorgeous diamond and emerald engagement ring on her wedding finger on a night out. On closer inspection, the gemstone is in an emerald cut with a halo of tiny flawless diamonds, simply spectacular.
Early this year, the Transformers 3 actress announced her engagement to Transporter actor, Jason Statham. At the Golden Globes, she can be seen sporting what appears to be a large oval diamond engagement ring on a thin gold ring. Simple and stunning, the ring simply oozes charm.
2016 is still young and we hope to see many more engagements throughout the year, including our customers. If you do get engaged then send us your story, we'd love to feature it on our blog, social media and newsletter. Send your story and images to firstname.lastname@example.org
